Lake Powell is the 2nd largest man made lake in the united states. Its size is truly overwhelming. You could very easily get lost. Its strange to be in so much water in the middle of the desert.
This day the water was like glass, unlike the first day that was waaaay too windy to even take pictures.
We were able to get close enough to the shore that I could just jump out. I felt like I was in the middle of the Sahara desert, only surrounded by water.
